1) Thomas Jefferson begins developing conflicts within himself because he is having a hard time balancing his work and family life out.
2) Conflicts begin to arise between Thomas Jefferson and his daughter Patsy since she is growing up and she does not feel like her dad is taking his fatherly responsibility seriously.
3) John Adams discusses the issues that Congress is facing and urgently asks for Thomas Jefferson's assistance.
