1) The book takes place in the United States in the future where reading books is forbidden and all remains of books need to be burned.
2) The main character is called Guy Montag and he is a fireman in charge of burning any books that he finds.
3) Guy Montag meets his new neighbor who seems to be facinated by how Guy is a fireman.
4) Guy's neighbor states that she comes from a family that does many things against the law such as reading and walking.
5) Guy seems to be amazed by her personality and how open she is. He himself starts wondering if the life he is leading id making him happy or not.
