1. Luca Turin spent much of his time examining different types of chemicals and what effect they had on the sense of smell.
2. HCN seems like a possible substance that could have an effect on the sense of smell and possibly trigger it.
3. Turin payed attention to the shape of receptors how to differentiate between different ones.
4. Who interest seemed Luca Turin a lot was the fact that some chemicals smelt like thingswe were very familiar with. For example Sulfur smelt like rotten eggs.
5. Through his research Turin finds the concept that receptors can be "right-handed", this is a metaphor for explaining the way in which they recieve things.
