5 Things I Understand

1) Luca Turin seems to be very interested and up to date with many big name designers that sell perfume. Perfume seems like a hobby for Luca Turin.

2) Luca Turin likes to know many facts because his mother reflects back on his love for museums and how he would come back to her and tell her all the facts that he knows.

3) Culture played a major role in Luca Turin's love for perfume because he was from French and Italian backgrounds and he was born surrounded with designers and perfume makers.

4) Luca Turin spent much of the time in his lab and was fascinated by the sense of smell and how it worked.

5) Luca Turin was very talented at naming different sorts of scents since he was fascinated by many types of perfume.

1) Chandler Burr quickly mentions that Luca Turin's mother and father divorced, but what was the reason behind thier sudden divorce?

2) At what age did Luca Turin begin building a fascination for perfume and how the sense of smell worked?

3) As Luca Turin began intensley researching the sense of smell and how it functioned, did he ever suppose that he would eventually win a Nobel Prize for it?

4) If Luca Turin were to briefly explain his journey while researching the sense of smell, what would he describe it as and did his interrst in the sense of smell elevate or decrease in any way upon performing his research?
