1. Annika is taken into her real mother's mansion and has to adjust to a new lifestyle and new people altogether.

2. Annika meets her cousin Hermann shows Annika around her new hose and Annika is very pleased with the mansion she is soon to be living in and whiches Loremarie was there to see how luxurious her life is.

3. Annika tries to help out around the house like she used to do in Vienna but her mother does not want her to do so because she is now part of a wealthy family and cleaning makes her look like a maid.

4. Annika gets very upset becasue living the von Tanennburg lifestyle is not warm and comfy like her old life was.

5. Annika spots a boy riding a beautiful horse while lookinhg out her window and is soon shocked to find out that the true indentity of that individaul was not what she had thought.

6. Annika makes friends with the stable boy named Zed who shows Annika around the stable and makes her feel welcome.

7. Zed is shocked by Annika's personality because he thought that she would be a show-off like most von Tanennburg's are but Annika was the complete opposite.
